Welcome to Chicago O'Hare International Airport's Property Locator program! This program has been designed and created just for you and your concerns regarding noise created by the airport. This help guide will show you how to use the Address Lookup screen and the important noise information it provides.

When you bring up the program, click on the Address Lookup button:

Which will bring up the Address Lookup window. In the address box, enter the number and street of the location for which you are looking.

Then, click on the city from the pull-down menu located in the box below the address box. Zip codes are not necessary. Now click on the "Look Up Address" button.

This will bring up a house-shaped icon on the map indicating the location of the requested address.

NOTE: If the program does not recognize the address, it will bring up a red error message indicating that it did not recognize the address. Click the "Clear" button and reenter your address information.

Once the icon is present on the screen, you can now zoom in or zoom out to see the surrounding areas, obtain a street map of your location and move in any direction (North, South, East & West).

The zoom bar located under the map has a green bar to indicate the zoom level at which you are currently looking. To zoom in or out, simply place your mouse over the bar and your preferred zoom level will be highlighted in yellow. Click once with your mouse over the bar. After a moment the map will re-center itself on the icon at the desired zoom level and a green bar will replace the yellow one.

If you wish to see what other towns or streets are in proximity to the entered location, move the mouse over the border of the map and after it is highlighted in yellow, click once to move the map in that direction.

Now that the desired location and zoom level are set on the screen, you have the option of printing the picture from your home or office printer. Click the Print button:

This will bring up a new web page with both the map and the requested address information, from which you can print with from the standard print menu on your browser. (NOTE: For best results print in Landscape mode.)
